Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms
All bookings are made with the understanding that the customer has read and accepted all terms and conditions stated herein. AIAB will not accept any responsibility for the hirer not thoroughly reading and understanding all terms and conditions.

Binding Contract
The booking invoice constitutes a binding contract between AIAB and the hirer and does not require a signature for confirmation. The transfer of deposit monies acts as the hirer's signature and acceptance. Non-signature does not constitute cancellation of this agreement.

Queries
Any questions regarding the terms and conditions must be reported to AIAB within 28 days of the booking date.

Ownership
All items remain the sole property of AIAB at all times. All items are for hire only unless otherwise stated. Any theft of items will be reported to the police, and the hirer will be charged for replacing these items.

Minimum Spend and Mileage Fees
There is no minimum spend for bookings within 50 miles of DE14. Outside this radius, a mileage fee may apply.

Invoice Changes
Any changes to the invoice after booking can only be made at the discretion of AIAB and are subject to availability. Availability of items cannot be guaranteed without securing them with an invoice.

Hirer Responsibility
The hirer is solely responsible for all hired goods for the duration of the hire period and is fully responsible for any injury, death, or damage to any persons or property. AIAB cannot be held responsible for any injuries or deaths that occur during the hire period.

Payment
A £250 booking fee is required to secure the booking. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The remaining balance is due four weeks prior to the event. Failure to pay the final installment on time will result in the booking being cancelled. All payments are to be made via bank transfer. PayPal is only accepted at the discretion of AIAB. Charges will be applied to any property hired that is damaged or lost. A full list of charges is available on request. The booking is only secured after the £250 deposit booking fee has been received. Payment of the booking fee signifies the hirer's acceptance and understanding of all terms and conditions.

Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation, all monies paid will be forfeited and remain the property of AIAB, regardless of how early the booking is cancelled. AIAB will not incur any liability for non-fulfillment of the contract due to force majeure events, such as extreme weather, flood, fire, or other acts of God. Every effort will be made to fulfill the contract.

Hire Items
All items stated on the booking invoice will be provided at the event. It is the hirer's responsibility to check this, and AIAB will not be held responsible if something is missing from the invoice without the hirer informing us. AIAB cannot be held responsible if items do not match other hire items from external suppliers or if the overall look is not what the hirer had envisaged.

Artistic License
AIAB shall be granted full artistic license during styling, set up, and installation on the day. AIAB will make every decision in the best interest of the hirer, which may include altering colors, positioning, props, and styling themes slightly to achieve a greater desired effect. If items do not fit in the desired space, we will consult the venue about providing alternative locations.

Open Flames
AIAB will not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or death as a result of open flame. The hirer should ensure that candles are permitted and should take every precaution to ensure these are used and maintained safely after AIAB has left the venue.

Damage and Insurance Claims
The hirer is fully responsible for any missing or damaged items upon collection and will incur a charge invoiced at the cost of the hirer. AIAB cannot be held responsible for any injuries or deaths that occur during the hire period. For items significantly damaged that need to be claimed against an insurance policy, the hirer is fully responsible for all excesses and any additional charges resulting from an insurance claim.

Electrical Devices and Equipment
AIAB will inspect all electrical devices and equipment, including but not limited to neons and audio guestbooks, prior to the commencement of the event. Clear signage will be placed on all plugs and electrical equipment, indicating that such items must not be touched without prior consent from AIAB. AIAB shall not be held responsible for any faults or electrical damage that may occur during your event. Furthermore, if the audio phone is dropped or unplugged by a guest, this will result in the phone ceasing to record. AIAB will make reasonable efforts to return to the event to address any reported electrical issues. However, if the issue is not brought to our attention during the event, AIAB shall not offer compensation for any faults discovered after the event. Any electrical faults reported post-event shall not constitute grounds for a complaint or compensation. AIAB staff will advise venue staff to regularly check the audio phone throughout the event and to contact AIAB immediately should any faults arise. AIAB is willing to return to rectify any such faults; however, failure to inform AIAB of these issues during the event shall absolve AIAB of any liability in the instance that the audio phone does not record any messages.

Chair Drapes and Linens
All linen is washed in non-biological detergent, and AIAB will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions due to this. All linens are ironed; however, slight creasing may occur during transportation, which is not a matter for complaint. Colors may vary from pictures due to availability, lighting, and camera settings. Colors will be sourced as close to the pictured color as possible.

Photography
AIAB may use photography taken during the hire period and is eligible to do so. Images will not be shared before the event has taken place.

Styling Questionnaires
A styling questionnaire must be completed by the hirer prior to the event. If this is not completed, or not completed in sufficient detail, AIAB will use their best judgment to style and place all items. Without a detailed questionnaire, AIAB will have full creative freedom on the overall look of the event and cannot be held liable if the specific desired effect is not achieved.

Day Before Setups
All items are hired for a 24-hour period unless otherwise paid for. If the hirer wishes for AIAB to set up the day before, a £200 fee will be added to their booking to guarantee day-before setup and cover the cost of a two-day hire. Where possible, AIAB will endeavor to accommodate day-before setups where scheduling allows; however, without payment at the time of booking, this cannot be confirmed until three days prior to the event.

Room Turnaround Service
Where the same room is being used for both the ceremony and the reception, AIAB strongly recommends paying for our room turnaround service. AIAB is happy to leave hire items out for the venue to turn around; however, if the room is turned around by anyone other than AIAB staff, we cannot guarantee the desired styling effect will be achieved. AIAB cannot be held responsible for the look and aesthetics of any items that are not placed by our team.

Treats
The hirer accepts full responsibility for understanding the ingredients and age guidelines of sweets and donuts and informing their guests accordingly. Full ingredients of all sweets and donuts are available on request. AIAB cannot be held responsible for any injuries or deaths caused by the consumption of any sweets or donuts provided. All sweets and donuts are made in factories that also manufacture nut products. AIAB cannot be held responsible for any allergies, injuries, or deaths resulting from nuts or other products. Sweet and donut variations may vary due to availability. Vegetarian sweet choices are available on request. The hirer is fully responsible for ensuring that children are supervised at all times during the hire period to avoid choking and any accidents around glassware. AIAB will not be responsible for such injuries or deaths. AIAB cannot be held responsible for any safety issues regarding the consumption of sweets and donuts or the use of any equipment used. All glassware is cleaned and sterilized, and sweets are filled at the venue.

Insurance
AIAB has full public liability insurance up to the sum of £2,000,000, and the insurance certificate is available on request.
